The alumni association includes some 1,100 former students and participants from our academic degree, open, and tailor-made trainings. They come from 151 countries and jurisdictions around the world.

We seek to foster a lifelong connection between IACA and alumni, promote interaction among alumni, and connect them with current students.

IACAlumnus is a quarterly magazine written by alumni for alumni. It offers a forum for alumni to exchange ideas, explore current topics, and highlight achievements.

We welcome submissions from alumni year-round. Faculty members, speakers, and researchers associated with IACA are also invited to contribute to the magazine.


 What kinds of articles we are looking for:

  • Articles dealing with current issues or global trends in anti-corruption or a related field
  • Articles on challenges in alumni's sectors of work
  • Articles featuring personal achievements or projects alumni have been involved in
  • Literary reviews
  • Photo essays

Have you read any inspiring books, novels, or articles recently which you would recommend to others? Tell us about them and we will be happy to create a vacation reading list for your fellow graduates.


Writing Guidelines

  • Articles should be between 600 and 1,600 words in length. Those wishing to write longer pieces are recommend to contact the editors at alumni@iaca.int beforehand.
  • Articles must be written in the English language.
  • Articles must be written in a personal capacity.
  • Content must be properly referenced.

 As IACA is an impartial international organization, articles of a prejudiced or nationally/politically biased character cannot be accepted.


How to Submit

To submit, send your article in the form of a Word document to alumni@iaca.int. Please also include a short biography about yourself (120 words max.) as well as a portrait photo.



IACA reserves the right to select submissions. Edited articles will be sent to authors for a final review except in the case of standard spelling/grammar editing changes. We accept simultaneous submissions, provided you let us know immediately in case it is being published elsewhere.



The third alumni reunion took place on 7 and 8 July 2016, attracting former students and participants from, inter alia, Austria, Germany, Mexico, Nepal, the Netherlands, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. For the full story, please click here.


The second alumni reunion took place on 9 and 10 July 2015. Thirty alumni from 20 different countries took part. For the full story, please click here.


The first alumni reunion was held from 10 to 11 July 2014, attended by some 25 alumni from 14 different countries. Before departing, they left the 2111 class with a message; a message carefully sealed and stored away in the chambers of IACA’s Palais Kaunitz-Wittgenstein, to be opened by IACA participants on the 100th anniversary of the organization.
