Petra SUSAC - Project Coordinator

Petra Susac (Croatia) has 11 years of higher education administration experience. Before coming to IACA, Ms. Susac was the Graduate MBA Coordinator at Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM) in Croatia, where she also served as Marketing Director. Ms. Susac earned her BA in economics and management and her Master of Business Administration from ZSEM.

Khusraw PARWEZ   

Khusraw Parwez - Project Officer

Khusraw Parwez (Afghanistan) worked in Afghanistan for Germany’s Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and its predecessor for eight years before coming to IACA. Mr. Parwez’s experience is in project development and management, primarily in the areas of corruption assessment, prevention, process re-engineering, and capacity-building. Mr. Parwez is a 2014 graduate of the MACS programme. He also holds a BA in Economics and Statistics from Kabul University.


Alena Gustafikova - Project Officer

Alena Gustafikova (Slovakia) has previously worked for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Her experience is in project development and project management. Ms. Gustafikova holds an MA in translation from the University of Vienna.

Bernadette Gilhofer - Administrative and Project Officer

Bernadette Gilhofer (Austria) is an economist with several years of experience in the private sector. Before joining IACA, Ms. Gilhofer worked as an international proposal manager at A1 Telekom Austria AG and as a management consultant at Accenture GmbH. She holds a BSc in Management and Economics from the University of Innsbruck (Austria) and an MSc in International Economics from the City University London (UK).


Martin Zapata - Research Associate

Martin Zapata (Bolivia) is a lecturer and researcher who worked as an expert and consultant for UNODC, Inter-American Development Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and the Bolivian Ministry of Transparency, where he also served as Director General of Prevention, Ethics and Transparency. In addition to his law degree from the University of San Andres in Bolivia, Mr. Zapata holds Master’s degrees from the University of Meiji (Japan) and the University of Melbourne (Australia).
