DSC 1123 webEarlier this month, IACA delivered a tailor-made training in Romania for the Austrian timber company Holzindustrie Schweighofer. The purpose of the programme was to support the company, which has recently adopted a new code of conduct across the whole organisation, in advancing its core values and rules.

For this purpose, a pool of international and national IACA experts participated in the activities organised for the factories in Reci and Bucharest. In addition, IACA organised a Discussion Forum in Bucharest, where IACA experts and Schweighofer's senior management focused on compliance measures, the introduction of which is necessary to promote a transparent and accountable business. The discussion was enriched by the contribution of Philip Morris International senior compliance experts, who shared their experience in setting up sustainable compliance systems. In the final stage of the programme, IACA will organize in February a workshop in Germany.

This tailor-made training follows on a series of initiatives with the private sector, fulfilling IACA's guiding approach to tackle and prevent corruption across all sectors.

IACA tailor-made trainings are IACA’s customized programmes for specific organizations, corporations, or institutions, addressing the unique challenges that each one faces in preventing and fighting corruption.
