Jesus College CambridgeIACA is once again supporting the Cambridge International Symposium on Economic Crime, the 35th edition of which will take place from 3 to 10 September 2017 at Jesus College, University of Cambridge.

The theme of this year’s gathering is “Preventing and Controlling Economic Crime in the Modern World – whose responsibility and are they really up to it?”

Martin Kreutner, Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA, will give a keynote address and will be one of more than 600 experts from around the world sharing their experience at the symposium. The organization also supported this non-profit event in each of the previous four years, along with many other academic institutions and government and non-government agencies.

Some 1,800 participants from more than 90 countries are expected to attend, from fields including policy-making, law enforcement, compliance, regulation, business, and professional services.

The symposium aims to offer in-depth analysis of threats to institutions and economies presented by economically motivated crime and misconduct, and to suggest and help to develop better practices to counter these challenges.
