IMG 6398 editedEach year in July the annual Alumni Reunion is held in Laxenburg. This two-day event is tied to the last two days of the annual IACA Summer Academy held at IACA’s campus during the first week of July. The two-day programme for the Reunion provides alumni with an opportunity to network on-site with fellow alumni, benefit from interactive and specifically chosen lecturers for this event, and the possibility to extend their professional network through networking with current Summer Academy participants.


Dates and Lecturers

IMG 6383IACA’s 6th Alumni Reunion will take place on 4 and 5 July 2019. Sharing their latest insights on hot anti-corruption issues will be, among other, Beth Haddock, Managing Partner of Warburton Advisers in USA, Tan Sri Abu Kassim bin Mohamed, Director General of the National Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Centre in Malaysia, visiting expert at IACA and also a member of the Academy’s International Senior Advisory Board, and Amr Taha, Senior Regional Liaison and Policy Officer at the International Organization for Migration in Vienna

IMG 6458Please join us for two days filled with networking opportunities, gala dinner, and daytime programming featuring Academy’s renowned faculty members and prominent alumni. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow alumni and catch up with old friends.

Our traditional gala dinner with the IACA Summer Academy participants is planned for Thursday, 4 July.


Fee and Discounts

The participation fee is 380 EUR per person. This includes all lectures, coffee and lunch breaks, shuttle bus service from Vienna, and the gala dinner.


Practical Details

Alumni are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and any associated costs. A limited number of rooms will be pre-booked at a hotel in Vienna. We recommend that those interested in this offer contact us as early as possible and we will provide you with detailed information and with the hotel booking form.

If you require a visa to travel to Austria, IACA will issue a note verbale in support of your application. Since the visa application process can take a long time, please allow at least two months before the start of the Alumni Reunion to secure your visa.
