IACA Projects

About

IACA engages in projects with a variety of partners and stakeholders, playing a leading role in facilitating and delivering anti-corruption education, as well as fostering dialogue to increase awareness and facilitate activities to prevent and combat corruption.

Training programmes, workshops, conferences, and other type of events on current topics relating to anti-corruption, compliance, and integrity are organized with renowned international partners in response to challenges and needs in such fields.

Project title  

Dedicated Scholarship Programme IACA Empowering women through education in the fight against corruption

Duration    Continuous, 2 months to 2 years 
Location   IACA campus (Laxenburg, Austria) and online
Implementation expenses
per person
  EUR 17,900 per funded participant for the Master in Anti-Corruption (MACS)
EUR 750 per funded participant for the Open Online Training Course
Focus   

To provide capacity-building activities and empower women in the civil service in LDCs through anti-corruption education and training to strengthen the fight against corruption in public service delivery. This will be done by providing merit-based scholarships to female public officials from LDCs to participate in MACS programme and open online training courses.

Project title  

Dedicated Scholarship Programme Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy

Duration    Continuous, 6 to 18 months
Location   IACA campus (Laxenburg, Austria), Unitar campus (Geneva, Switzerland), and online
Implementation expenses
per person
  EUR 23,105 per funded participant for the Master in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD)
EUR 2,821 per funded participant for the Executive Diploma in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (EDACD)
Focus    To provide foreign service personnel, staff of international organisations, and NGOs from LDCs with the skills needed to operate in the diplomacy-anti-corruption nexus which will enable them to engage in anti-corruption initiatives on the international level.This will be done by providing merit-based scholarships to LDC nationals to participate in IACA and UNITAR’s joint MACD and EDACD programmes.

Project title  

IACA-UNODC:Providing Specialized Training on Anti-Corruption Legislation to Least Developed Countries to Fast-Track UNCAC Implementation

Duration    1 year 
Location   IACA campus (Laxenburg, Austria) 
Budget    510,000 EUR 
Focus    Having identified common challenges and institutional gaps, the purpose of this training is delivering courses and capacity building workshops to technical and policy experts from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) in order to develop and implement solutions.
