The IACA alumni association includes over 4.300 former students and participants from our academic degrees, open, and tailor-made trainings. They come from 168 countries and jurisdictions around the world. The Regional Alumni Conference will bring together alumni from EAST, SOUTH-EAST, AND SOUTH ASIA for the conference and reunion. The Regional Alumni Conference is a first of its kind, modelled after the global annual Alumni Reunions held at IACA Campus.


  1. Enhance networking, strengthen collaboration, and take stock of alumni activities and achievements in the region.
  2. Equip alumni with new knowledge, skills, and tools to address regional anti-corruption challenges.
  3. Address regional anti-corruption challenges, exchange good practices, and promote the implementation of anti-corruption and Collective Action initiatives in the region and enhance impact.

In addition to the exciting and intense conference programme, which comprises of practical and lab format sessions and roundtable discussions delivered by our esteemed speakers and members of the alumni community, the agenda will also entail an excursion, welcome and farewell dinners and many other opportunities to enhance networking and collaboration as well as exchange good practice among alumni. 


The detailed programme including confirmed lecturers will be published soon, and the conference will cover the following anti-corruption, compliance, and Collective Action related themes:

  • Anti-corruption and compliance regional issues and case studies
  • Enhancing anti-corruption efforts and impact by IACA Alumni
  • Collective Action against corruption
  • Ethics, integrity and compliance
  • Economics / enforcement / prevention/ new technologies for anti-corruption compliance

  • a deeper understanding of the intricacies of corruption globally and in the region
  • enhanced skill sets to address regional anti-corruption and compliance challenges
  • increased awareness of anti-corruption and Collective Action initiatives in the region
  • exposure to the latest trends presented by leading global experts
  • the opportunity to exchange experiences and develop a strong network.


Alumni Speaker

IACA will provide opportunities to four (4) speakers from the alumni regional network to make presentations on anti-corruption, compliance, and Collective Action initiatives they are involved in. In order to be selected as a speaker, please submit along with your application a summary of presentation and topic (not more than one page) including:

  • Brief description of the anti-corruption, compliance, and/or Collective Action initiative
  • Objectives of the presentation
  • Contents of the presentation
  • Main takeaways for the audience

 Selected candidates will have their flight and board expenses, as well as programme fee covered.

Conference publication

A post conference publication focusing on good practices and effective tools in anti-corruption, compliance, and Collective Action will be prepared and shared with all Alumni globally. IACA invites all alumni from the region to share, for publication, summaries of anti-corruption compliance and collective action initiatives they are involved in or have initiated and are implementing. Examples of initiatives include, policy and institutional reforms, educational activities, implementation of good practices and/or setting up collective action initiatives. The summary report should describe:

  • Name of initiative/project/activity/undertaking
  • Executive summary
  • Initiative area Including location, sector, company / organization
  • Corruption problem (being) addressed
  • Stakeholders of the initiative
  • Objectives and activities, methods, and/or tools applied
  • Results / Impact / what has changed, if possible, include links, publications, or any other material about your initiative
  • Final remarks (including policy implications, lessons learned, replicability, etc.)

The summary must not be over 750 words and must be submitted in word format. Photos may be included to illustrate your topic; however, please make sure you hold the respective rights to further use and publish such photos. Only selected summaries will be published.

IACA encourages submissions even from alumni from the region who may not be participating at the conference. Such candidates may directly submit their summary report to

IACA alumni from the selected countries in EAST, SOUTH-EAST, and SOUTH ASIA region.

Delivery Format

The alumni conference is foreseen to be delivered in person and to include lectures, social events, alumni presentation sessions, and a round-table discussion.

Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Kingdom of Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Kingdom of Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Republic of India, Republic of Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Japan, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Republic of Maldives, Mongolia, Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Republic of the Philippines, Republic of Korea, Republic of Singapore, Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, Kingdom of Thailand, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; and People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and People’s Republic of China, Macao Special Administrative Region.

Admission requirements

  • IACA Alumni from EAST, SOUTH-EAST, and SOUTH ASIA region are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Hold a passport of one of the eligible countries.

IACA is committed to promoting diversity and strives to attract participants from various backgrounds.

* Please note that applications from non-IACA Alumni will not be considered.

  • Summary of presentation and topic (for speaker applicants)
  • Summary of initiative report (for post conference publication)
  • Copy of a valid passport
  • Professional photo.
  • Proof of English Proficiency (optional)


Even though IACA would prefer to have all its alumni in the region participating in this event, we have limited seats available. Should there be a high demand expressed from the regional alumni network, IACA may conduct a selection process to ensure balance in sectors, gender, and countries. Selected candidates will be notified at the earliest convenience to facilitate travel arrangements.

Fees and Logistics

Training fee: 90 EUR – tuition fee, accommodation, meals, coffee breaks, and social events as described in the programme.

Insurance: Participants are responsible for their insurance and covering any other associated costs.

Visa: Participants are responsible for their visa arrangements and any other associated costs. IACA will provide Visa support letter upon request

Travel: Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.
