Description

This course will address the “whys” and “hows” of Responsible (Ethical) Leadership in the corporate sector and will provide students with opportunities to access and foster their personal leadership development. It will combine academic research from leadership studies, business ethics, sociology, and social psychology, with self-reflection and impact-thinking exercises. As such, the training is intended to help participants elucidate their strengths and weaknesses, reconsider their leadership vision, identify their implicit (cultural) biases, and reflect upon their workplace experiences.

Learning objectives

  • Identifying the paradoxes, dilemmas and opportunities associated with Responsible Leadership
  • Developing metacognitivity (thinking about thinking and knowing about knowing)
  • Solving ethical dilemmas
  • Reflecting on and (re)evaluating personal vision and direction in the context of broader societal impact
  • Managing complexity of multi-task assignments
