Description
The overall purpose of this course is to guide you in preparing your own research projects and/or review other’s research projects. The sub courses are interactive workshops that consist of (virtual) meetings that will provide the necessary information and guidance for preparing and submitting your written projects (e.g., research works, assignments, Master’s Thesis).
During the course, students will learn how to think critically about theoretical problems in terms of empirical models; theory, hypothesis testing, addressing questions, data collection and analysis, presentation of a paper and writing an academic assignment. Special emphasis will be given on applying the acquired tools to a successful design and writing of a final project. Finally, this course is intended to give you an opportunity to develop your overall writing skills, also towards a thesis track in a master’s programme.
