Alumni reunions
IACA’s first Regional Alumni Conference was successfully organized in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in the third week of November 2022, and brought together thirty-five (35) alumni from countries of the Asian region including Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Republic of Korea.
The programme featured lectures by experts including Ms. Datuk Wan Suruya, Chief Executive Officer at the Malaysian Institute of Integrity (IIM), and Mr. Sven Biermann, Executive Director at Fisheries Transparency Initiative (FiTI). The sessions covered important topics such as regulation with transnational implications, behaviourally informed interviewing, collective action, ethical leadership, organizational integrity, and collaboration in investigation cases.
The conference aimed to facilitate valuable exchanges of experiences and practical skills among alumni, fostering strong anti-corruption networks within the region.
