On 21 February, IACA received the new Moroccan Minister of the Public Service and Modernization of Administration, Abdelâdim El Guerrouj, accompanied by the Ministry’s Director, Ahmed Laamoumri, and Morocco’s Alternate Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Vienna, Abderrahman Fyad.
On 14 February, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes and IACA entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, establishing a general framework of cooperation in the field of anti-corruption. The memorandum calls for joint efforts in anti-corruption education, technical assistance and the promotion of institution building measures.
On 23 January, an IACA delegation led by Martin Kreutner, International Transition Team Chair and Executive Secretary to the Provisional Commission, met with Waldemar Pawlak, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Economy. Deputy Prime Minister Pawlak commended the Academy’s work and disclosed that Poland is eager to strengthen ties with IACA.
