the Mongolian Permanent Mission in Vienna, visited IACA to learn more about the development of anti-corruption programmes. With recent changes in the country’s economic system, Mongolia has been confronted with increased threats from organized crime and has encountered new types of transnational crime. As a means for capacity building in the country, the General Prosecutor’s Office, independent of the Mongolian Ministry of Justice and the judiciary, is in the process of setting up a training centre for national prosecutors. As a result, the purpose of the meeting with IACA officials was to learn about the organization’s experiences with programme concepts and best practices, curriculum designs, means of attracting experts, and possibilities for assistance.
