Tailor-made training for the ACRCFrom 19 to 21 November 2013, six officials from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of the Republic of Korea participated in a three-day, tailor-made training by IACA.

The participants profited from a varied programme, combining on-site lectures with field trips to relevant organizations in Vienna. Lectures focused on the corruption phenomena in general, political corruption, as well as building integrity in the public sector. For the fieldtrips, the participants met with representatives from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Austrian Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption, as well as the Public Prosecutor for Corruption and Economic Crimes. The presentations triggered many questions about the difficulties in combatting corruption and led to an interesting exchange of ideas, best practices, and benchmarks.
