IACA Summer Academy 2020: Online Format

The International Anti-Corruption Summer Academy is an intensive, interdisciplinary programme that addresses trends and practices on the global anti-corruption agenda and promotes a culture of the reflective practitioner. It is open to professionals from around the world, with a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in the public or private sector, international or non-governmental organizations, as well as media representatives, students, and researchers in areas related to anti-corruption and/or compliance. Applicants with a level of junior engagement demonstrating their potential may also apply.

The world is currently facing many uncertainties regarding the COVID-19 virus pandemic, and international travel continues to be particularly affected. Against this background and after much thought and careful consideration, IACA made a decision to organize its 10th edition of the International Anti-Corruption Summer Academy in an online format, instead of on campus in Laxenburg.

Following the selection, participants will attend sessions with leading professors and practitioners in the fields of anti-corruption and compliance in the period 5 – 11 September 2020.

IACA will also offer tuition fee waivers to the passport holders of the Least Developed Countries (as per UN classification), as well as to the citizens of IACA’s Parties listed as Lower-Middle and Upper-Middle Economies by the World Bank.

We are currently finalizing the details and will publish all further information about the programme on our web site soon.
