About

The International Anti-Corruption Academy endeavours to provide a world-class education to students from diverse backgrounds. IACA’s four master’s programmes are designed for anti-corruption and compliance specialists to enable them to study while continuing with their professional activities. Our students come from a diverse range of geographic, sectoral, and academic backgrounds.

All programmes utilize module-based coursework, and the master’s programmes require students to write and defend a final thesis or final research project. The degree programmes are taught in a hybrid or online format, with some in-person classes being completed at IACA’s campus in Laxenburg/Vienna, Austria.

IACA has welcomed students from more than 60 countries and jurisdictions for its academic degree programmes.

Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS)

The first global, postgraduate degree programme in anti-corruption and compliance. The programme offers a series of interdisciplinary modules that concentrate on concepts and applied perspectives for preventing and countering corruption and establishing solid components of compliance. Students will also produce a Master’s Thesis for which a supporting course in research methods and writing skills will be running in parallel with other modules.

International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC)

Our specialized master’s programme for business professionals in these fields. The programme offers a rigorous, diverse, and innovative anti-corruption compliance and collective action curriculum. It reflects a variety of academic disciplines necessary for providing comprehensive insight into corruption, anti-corruption, compliance systems, and collective action schemes while offering the practical know–how and expertise from non–academic fields through Compliance Labs and other innovative tools. Students and their employer’s benefit from both the academic and practitioner focus of the programme.

Open Modules of Master Programmes

The open modules offer a valuable opportunity to explore the Master’s Programmes without committing to the full two-year duration. These modules provide in-depth knowledge on anti-corruption prevention methods, collaboration systems, and emerging technologies in the field, allowing you to continue advancing your professional career. Additionally, you can earn ECTS credits, which may be transferred to a future Master’s programme.

The Master in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD) is a modular postgraduate academic degree programme delivered over 18 months, in a mixture of campus-based and online (live interaction) classes, jointly by UNITAR and the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA).

You can find more details about important dates, deadlines, and other academic resources on the specific program pages.
