On 27 January H.E. Mr. Shin Dong-ik, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Korea to the International Organizations in Vienna, presented his credentials to Martin Kreutner, Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA.

The Academy has long-standing fruitful ties with the Republic of Korea, which ratified the Agreement for the Establishment of IACA as an International Organization in December 2011, and with the country’s Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC).

In recent years IACA has delivered several tailor-made trainings for the ACRC, with which it signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2012, as well as for the Ministry of Personnel Management and the Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Company. In addition, an expert from the Republic of Korea sits on IACA’s International Academic Advisory Board, serving in his individual capacity.
