IACA today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).
The MoU is intended to support the two institutions’ shared mission to contribute to the formulation of sustainable policies in their respective fields, especially to prevent and combat corruption, and to foster good neighbourly relations within the municipality of Laxenburg, Austria, where both of them are based.
IIASA, which was founded in 1972, is an international not-for-profit scientific institute that conducts policy-oriented research into problems that are too large or too complex to be solved by a single country or academic discipline. The MoU between the two institutions envisages possible cooperation in research, training, education, and other areas.
It was signed by Pavel Kabat, IIASA’s Director General and Chief Executive Officer, and Martin Kreutner, IACA’s Dean and Executive Secretary.
