Seventh Tailor-made Training for Indian Central Vigilance Commission

From 3 to 14 June 2019 IACA delivered a two-week tailor-made anti-corruption training for senior vigilance officials working at the Indian Central Vigilance Commission, public companies and the Ministry of Railways. It was the seventh such training organized by IACA for the CVC India and it gathered together 24 officials.

The programme focused on a variety of topics, including international legal instruments, ethics, integrity & compliance, conflict of interest management, corruption and electronic evidence, fraud investigation and interview techniques, whistleblower protection, public private partnerships, and public procurement.

The sessions were delivered by as many as 16 internationally renowned experts and academics, and included study visits to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and Audit Unit at the Vienna City Hall.

This latest training session for Indian vigilance officers was a continuation of the existing cooperation between IACA and the CVC, an apex Indian governmental body that addresses governmental corruption. The prior edition of this training took place in February-March 2019 and the next training is under preparation.

Tailor-made trainings are IACA’s customized programmes for specific organizations, corporations, or institutions, addressing the unique challenges that each one faces in preventing and fighting corruption.
