Modules 3 of IMACC and MACS 2020 classes have started

Students of IACA’s two master’s programmes started the live sessions of the third module on 26 April 2021 parallelly. The third module of MACS 2020 deals with ‘Sociological, Criminological, and Political Economy Approach to Study Corruption’. In case of IMACC 2020, the module focuses on ‘Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action’.

In the framework of these modules, students of both classes attend joint sessions regarding the research methods with a focus on social sciences empirical research and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and corruption. All students also attend an expert talk on the “Role of Parliamentarians in Curbing Corruption”.

In separate sessions, MACS students analyse corruption and gender, politics, governance and development as well as collective action in the fight against corruption. The IMACC students study risk assessment, third party risks and risk management, internal controls, policies and procedures. Moreover, they focus on anti-corruption compliance system, corruption and human rights and take part in a comprehensive due diligence lab.

The third module live sessions will end in the third week of May 2021 and will be followed by the post-study phase.
