Modules II of IMACC, MACS, MACD 2021 sessions have started

Students of the International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC), Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) and Master in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD) programmes started the Live Classes of their Module 2 in the beginning of February 2022. The IMACC’s module focuses on “Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action: National and International Legal Frameworks and Initiatives”, the MACD module focuses on “Anti-Corruption Legal and Ethical Frameworks in Public and Private Sector”, whereas the MACS module focuses on ‘Corruption, Law, and International Initiatives’.

The IMACC students learn about national anti-corruption laws, international anti-corruption conventions and initiatives, the role of collective action in preventing corruption, compliance and human rights, and anti-money laundering and financial crime protection.

The MACD students focus on national anti-corruption laws, international anti-corruption conventions and initiatives, the rule of law, human rights and corruption, anti-corruption compliance systems, and anti-money laundering and financial crime protection. Students of this programme will also attend courses on media relations and leadership skills as part of skills in diplomacy.

The MACS students learn about national anti-corruption laws, international anti-corruption conventions and initiatives, corruption and human rights, the rule of law, anti-money laundering and financial crime protection, and illicit financial flows.

Also, all students attend an expert talk with Mr. Michael Harshmann, the Chairperson of IACA’s International Senior Advisory Board. The talk is called “Good, Bad, and the Ugly” and it discusses the effectiveness of the global anti-corruption efforts.

The module live classes will continue for three to four weeks and will be followed by the next pre-study phase f the upcoming module.
