IACA at the 91st plenary meeting of GRECO

IACA participated in the 91st Plenary Meeting of the Group of States against Corruption, the Council of Europe’s anti-corruption monitoring body with its headquarters in Strasbourg. In his statement, Mr. Thomas Stelzer, Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA, updated delegates on IACA’s activities and stressed that ‘IACA stands ready to put our expertise and capacity building programmes at the disposal of GRECO and all its member states'. He added that IACA is looking forward to close collaboration with GRECO to support its anti-corruption efforts, particularly those to promote the rule of law, good governance, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. The Dean also held meetings with Ms. Hanne Juncher, Executive Secretary of GRECO, and Mr. Jan Kleijssen, Director, Action against Economic Crime and Information Society of the Council of Europe, to explore future areas of cooperation between the two organizations.
