IACA signs Memorandum of Understanding with Attorney General's Office of Ecuador

IACA continues to strengthen the framework of collaboration with the Republic of Ecuador through joint activities with the Attorney General's Office. Against this background, IACA’s Dean and Executive Secretary, Mr. Thomas Stelzer, and the Attorney General of Ecuador, Ms. Diana Salazar, signed on 14 July a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that establishes the general framework for closer cooperation in the fight and prevention of corruption. Forms of cooperation under the MoU include, inter alia, joint initiatives aimed at preventing and combating corruption through education, information exchange, capacity building and research projects.

As the first activity related to this MoU, the Attorney General's Office has disseminated information about IACA’s Master in Anti-Corruption Studies and Compliance (in Spanish), to promote the participation of Ecuadorian prosecutors in this program.
