The post-study phase of Module 4 of the Master in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD) programme, a joint programme of IACA and UNITAR, was completed on 24 July 2022. The classes of this module were held in person in Geneva.
Students of the Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) and International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC) of 2021 classes completed their virtual sessions this week. Their respective fourth modules started on 12 July 2021. The module of MACS 2021 covered ‘Economics of Corruption’ and the IMACC’s module - ‘Behavioral and Institutional Economics of Anti-Corruption Compliance Management and Implementation.’
Both classes engaged heavily in various virtual interactive live sessions of the courses on Anti-Corruption Measures in Procurement (Public and Private Perspectives), principal-agent theory and game theoretic approach to understanding corruption, and quantitative research methods.
In separate sessions, MACS students focus on economic theories and compliance management systems. The IMACC students analyze issues related to compliance management and corporate communication and the localization of transnational standards. Moreover, the IMACC students also started their specialized course ‘Auditing under ISO 37001 and ISO 37301’, which will provide those who complete it with an additional certificate.
The post-study phase of Module 4 of MACS and IMACC classes of 2021 will end on 4 September 2022.
