The first intake of the Master’s in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD) programme have now reached their sixth module. The live sessions began on 31 October and will run until 16 November 2022. They will focus on the topic of “Anti-Corruption Tools: Prevention, Criminalization and Law Enforcement”.
The module is being taught by renowned professors in the field of Anti-Corruption such as Jeff Cortese, Elizabeth David-Barrett, Fabian Espejo, Michael Johnston, Robert Klitgaard, Jeroen Maesschalck, and IACA’s faculty Pawan Kumar Sinha and Martin Zapata. The students will learn about problems with corruption in local governance, national anti-corruption strategies, collective action, technology in the fight against corruption, asset tracing and recovery, investigating and prosecuting corruption cases, prevention of corruption and anti-corruption research methods.
The MACD programme is a joint initiative with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and gives professionals an excellent opportunity to use a multi-disciplinary perspective to delve into the anti-corruption and diplomatic sphere.
The programme starts in November every year, and applications are accepted year-round. We have few spaces available for this year’s cohort.
