On 21 November 2022, H.E. Ms. Elena Maria Freije Murillo, the newly appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Honduras to International Organizations in Vienna, presented her credentials to Mr. Thomas Stelzer, Dean and Executive Secretary of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA). During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on current affairs and discussed possible avenues of further collaboration between the Republic of Honduras and the Academy. 

Honduras became a Party to the Agreement for the Establishment of IACA as an International Organization on 2 February 2019
