On 21 November 2022, H.E. Mr. Alibek Bakayev, the newly appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to International Organizations in Vienna, presented his credentials to Mr. Thomas Stelzer, Dean and Executive Secretary of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA). During the meeting, both sides discussed possible avenues of further collaboration between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Academy, particularly focusing on trainings for interested authorities in the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

Kazakhstan became a Party to the Agreement for the Establishment of IACA as an International Organization on 3 February 2014.
