On 15 November 2022, a delegation from the Korea Audit and Training Institute (AITI) visited IACA headquarters in Laxenburg, Austria for a meeting with the Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA, Mr. Thomas Stelzer, and representatives of various departments of the Academy. 

The AITI delegation was led by Mr. Sung Eun Jo, President of the Board of Audit and Inspection and accompanied by Mr. Se Yol Jang, Director of the Division of Operational Support and Ms. Eun Ju Song, English Editor. They were also joined by Prof. Joo Suk Park, Researcher and Lecturer at the Audit and Education Institute of the Republic of Korea Board of Audit and Inspection.  

During the meeting, IACA briefed the delegation about its various activities, including academic programmes, capacity-building trainings, and research projects, with a particular focus on audit-related topics. AITI representatives informed IACA about their work related to the provision of professional training to public auditors in the Republic of Korea. Both sides also discussed possible partnership and cooperation opportunities in fighting corruption.
