On 8 December 2022, a delegation from the Statistical Standards Division of Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) visited IACA headquarters in Laxenburg, Austria.  

The KOSTAT delegation was led by Vice Commissioner Yeo-nok Choi and accompanied by Deputy Director Jonghe Choi and Assistant Director Taekyun Kim. They were also joined by Coordinator Hyun Jung Park and Researcher Seong Jae Shin from UNODC-KOSTAT Centre of Excellence.  

During the meeting, the KOSTAT delegation received information about the academic programmes, capacity building trainings, and research activities, with a particular focus on the Global Programme on Measuring Corruption. Both sides also discussed possible partnership and cooperation opportunities in anti-corruption.
