The topics ranged from Anti-Corruption and Compliance in the times of the pandemic and remote working, to Collective Action approaches (Regional and World-Wide), to the use of New Technologies, AI and Blockchains in the fight against Corruption, as well as Corruption in Sports and the Healthcare system. Thanks to this interdisciplinary approach, the participants were able to enhance their understanding of the topics from diverse perspectives including but not limited to legal, psychological, economic as well as a political line of thought. Above that, the interactive Roundtable Discussion and Workshop helped to explore the issue of technological revolutions and what new strategies should be adopted, but at the same time taking into consideration the factors that make it relevant to the region.
The Alumni Conference team is now preparing for the next Regional Alumni Conference that will take place in Africa in 2024.
