IACA Hosts Panel Discussion in Alpbach

IACA hosted a successful breakout session at the European Forum Alpbach on Monday on the theme of “Human Rights – Migration – Corruption: A Reality Check”.

Taking place within the framework of the Forum’s Legal Symposium, the interactive discussion highlighted the pivotal role of anti-corruption in upholding human rights, protecting social stability, and supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The panel consisted of Martin Kreutner, Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA (and moderator), Nikos Passas (IACA), Ruth Freedom Pojman (OSCE), and Ashura Kayupayupa (Human Rights student at the University of Vienna). After their opening remarks, the panellists engaged in lively debate with the audience throughout the well-attended event.

IACA is an official partner of the European Forum Alpbach 2016 - New Enlightenment. The Forum was established in 1945 with the aim of bringing together decision-makers from various disciplines (including science, politics, business, and culture) to engage in open dialogue with a committed audience.
