The participants in IACA’s 2014 – 2016 Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) programme were on campus from 13 to 24 July for the in-class phase of Module IV, which focused on Anti-Corruption, Law and International Initiatives.

Module IV featured four leading experts who are all regular lecturers at IACA. They are Nikos Passas, Professor at the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University in Boston and a member of the MACS Academic Programme Consortium; Robert Klitgaard, University Professor at Claremont Graduate University; Andrew Spalding, Assistant Professor at the University of Richmond School of Law; and Moritz Birk, Senior Project Officer and a researcher at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights, University of Vienna.
Thirty-one working professionals, including government officials, public relations officers, humanitarian workers, and compliance managers, are taking part in MACS 2014 – 2016. They come from 21 jurisdictions, namely Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brazil, El Salvador, Germany, India, Italy, Kosovo, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Switzerland, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, and the United States.
MACS 2015-2017, the third edition of the programme, will start in October this year. The application period recently closed after IACA received high levels of interest from all continents.
