Students of IACA’s two master’s programmes started their second module live sessions on 8 February 2021. The second module of MACS 2020 is on ‘Corruption, Law, and International Initiatives’ and of IMACC 2020 is on ‘Anti-Corruption Compliance: National and International Legal Framework and Initiatives’.
In framework of these modules, students attend joint sessions regarding the international anti-corruption instruments and initiatives, transnational application of anti-corruption national laws as well as anti-money laundering and financial crime protection. All students will also attend an interesting discussion on the ‘Germany’s Perspective on Ratification of International Treaties vs National Laws’ with an expert in this field.
In the separated sessions, MACS students will focus on the rule of law and human rights in relation to corruption, as well as on illicit financial flows. The IMACC students will study the role of collective action in preventing and reducing corruption and different standards of compliance.
The second module live sessions will end in the first week of March 2021 and after that, the students will start their post-study phase.
