New master programme in anti-corruption and diplomacy

A new master programme in Anti-Corruption and Diplomacy (MACD), developed jointly by IACA and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), has been launched and is now open for applications on IACA’s website.

The MACD is an in-career postgraduate academic programme which will be delivered over 18 months, commencing on 20 September 2021. The programme offers a series of interdisciplinary modules which concentrate on concepts and practical tools for preventing and countering corruption, and diplomacy.

The programme carries a total of 90 ECTS in subjects and cross–cutting themes relating to economics, behavioural science, ethics, law, compliance, international law, diplomatic activities, including digital and cyber diplomacy, as well as essential skills for an international career such as negotiations, leadership, effective writing, public speaking and stakeholder coordination and engagement.

Graduating students will receive an internationally recognized MA degree. They will also join IACA’s alumni network of anti-corruption and compliance professionals from more than 160 countries and jurisdictions.

The programme will be delivered online and on campus (in Geneva and Laxenburg/Vienna).
