On 13 September, the Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA held met various officials of the Slovak Republic responsible for anti-corruption activities. The visit started with a discussion with Mr. Peter Hulla, Director General of the Judicial Academy in Pezinok. Subsequently, in Bratislava, the Dean met with Mr. Juraj Podhorský, Director General for International Organisations and Human Rights Depratment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Ms. Zuzana Štofova, Director of the Deparment of European and Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Justice; and Mr. Pavel Franko, Director General of the Corruption Prevention and Crisis Management Section of the Government Office.

The main purpose of the trip was to identify anti-corruption initiatives IACA and Slovakia could implement jointly and ways in which the Academy could support the relevant institutions and structures in Slovakia.
