IACA receives a strong backing of its Host State

The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) steps into 2024 with renewed vigor and assurance, thanks to the IACA Support Act of the Republic of Austria, which formally came into force on 1 January 2024. This pivotal legislation represents a landmark commitment from the Austrian Federal Government, emphasizing Austria's role as a host state and its unwavering support for IACA's mission.

The IACA Support Act ensures an annual contribution of 300,000 Euros to IACA, reinforcing the Academy's financial stability, and foresees a possibility of a further annual contribution of up to 500,000 Euros, which underlines Austria's dedication to IACA’s sustainability and operational continuity.

This development marks a significant milestone in IACA’s journey, not only bolstering its financial framework but also reinforcing its position as an international leader in anti-corruption education and research.
