On 7 January 2024, Turkmenistan acceded to the Agreement for the Establishment of the International Anti-Corruption Academy as an International Organization.

Membership in IACA is open to UN Member States and intergovernmental organizations (IGOs).

With the addition of Turkmenistan, the Academy now has a constituency of 81 Parties, comprising 77 UN Member States and four IGOs.
