A delegation from Uzbekistan visited IACA. It was led by Mr. Sergey Nikolaevich Gordeev, Head of the Department on coordination of activities of law enforcement and regulatory authorities of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Mr. Sadirdin Abdusattarovich Boydedayev, Director of the National Information-Analytical Center on Drug Control under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Mr. Bakhtior Nematjonovich Ibragimov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, and other officials formed part of the delegation.

The main purpose of the visit was to discuss prospects for co-operation between IACA and the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly in relation to the ongoing work in Uzbekistan on developing the National Strategy to Combat Drug Addiction for the period 2024-2028, and the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (until 2030). 

Both sides agreed to continue dialogue with a view to identify ways for future joint initiatives, and the provision of technical support of IACA to Uzbekistan.
