From 16 to 19 June 2024, IACA implemented a three-day training for the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission of Thailand. This training gathered 79 anti-corruption and compliance officials from Thailand for a vigorous three-day programme. 

The training provided a unique platform for both public and private senior professionals with diverse backgrounds to exchange knowledge and expertise. Participants had the opportunity to attend lectures delivered by renowned experts, including Jane S. LEY, the former deputy director of United States Office of Government Ethics (OGE), Steven David BROWN, former Senior Law Enforcement Advisor for UNODC, Bojan GERŠAK, senior police inspector at Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, and Simona H. BOSIGER, founder and former chair of Transparency International Slovenia. 

This programme integrated theories of anti-corruption and compliance with case studies on different countries. The curriculum covered a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from financial asset disclosure, anti-money laundering and public-private partnership in corruption prevention. The interdisciplinary nature of the training fostered a holistic exploration of anti-corruption and compliance. Additionally, the programme included a study visit to the Vienna International Center (VIC) and UNODC, offering participants a deeper understanding of international anti-corruption legal instruments, including the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). 

Participants will also benefit from joining IACA’s extensive alumni network of anti-corruption and compliance professionals, which comprises over 5,800 members from 168 countries and jurisdictions.
