I am deeply honored and excited to begin my tenure as Dean of the International Anti-Corruption Academy. As I step into this role, I am filled with a profound sense of responsibility and enthusiasm to lead such a prestigious institution.
Corruption erodes trust, undermines justice, and stifles development. The purpose of the International Anti-Corruption Academy is to promote effective and efficient prevention and combating of corruption. I am inspired by the remarkable work that has been accomplished here and committed to lead IACA to further enhance its leading role in bringing science and practice together in a profound response to the challenges of the new typologies of corruption. In this regard the Academy’s commitment to promoting education, transparency, integrity, and accountability resonates deeply with my professional values and aspirations.
I am eager to build upon the solid foundation created through the collective efforts of the staff of IACA and our esteemed partners. Their dedication and hard work have positioned the Academy as a leading force in anti-corruption education and advocacy. My goal is to further this legacy by fostering an environment of rigorous academic research, innovative training programmes, and impactful policy dialogues.
I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with all IACA’s Parties, Signatories, Observers, and other Stakeholders. Your support will be invaluable as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the world. I am confident that with your strong backing IACA’s efforts towards achieving the vision of a future where integrity prevails and where corruption is no longer an obstacle to progress will be successful.
