On 17 September 2024, a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam visited the IACA Campus in Laxenburg, Austria to learn about the Academy's various activities, including academic programmes, capacity-building trainings, and research projects.

The delegation was led by Senior Colonel Hoang Quoc Viet, Deputy Director-General of the Counter-Narcotics and Transnational Organized Crime Police Department. The delegation was accompanied by Ms. Nguyen Nguyet Minh, Officer-in-Charge of UNODC in Viet Nam.

Discussions covered prospects for collaboration, particularly in relation to anti-corruption capacity-building activities. Both parties agreed to maintain dialogue focusing on potential joint initiatives in areas where IACA could further support Viet Nam’s anti-corruption efforts.
