On 7 and 8 October 2024, IACA hosted the second group of representatives of the Navoi Minig and Metallurgical Company (NMMC) and the representatives of the public sector from Uzbekistan for a two-day training. This programme was specifically tailored to provide further insight into the application of the ISO 37001 Standards from both the company’s and regulator’s perspective and discuss corruption prevention frameworks in extractive industries. 

The training was jointly organized by IACA and Five Moon and Co. to provide a platform for compliance professionals and regulators from Uzbekistan to discuss specific cases and expand their knowledge related to the implementation of ISO 37001 by gaining valuable insights from IACA frequent lecturers. Building upon the experience of previous training in September, the programme was further calibrated to integrate anti-corruption and compliance theory with interactive group work and practical case studies.   

Participants will also gain access to IACA’s extensive alumni network, which includes around 6,000 anti-corruption and compliance professionals from 170 countries and jurisdictions, facilitating continued professional development and networking opportunities.
