Students of the Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) and International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC) of the 2023 cohort have both completed the live session phase of their sixth module. The live sessions began on 9 December 2024 and ran until 23 January 2025. The modules focused on the topics of “Anti-Corruption Enforcement” (MACS) and “Anti-Corruption Compliance Systems: Ethics in Practice” (IMACC).

The classes were taught by renowned experts in the field, namely Tan Sri Abu Kassim, Ambroise Auge, Heike Boehme, John Collins, John Hatchard, Guillermo Jorge, Guido Palazzo, Tom Willems, and Mark Worth.

The MACS students, having already acquired a solid understanding of the legal and institutional frameworks to tackle corruption, moved further into the enforcement area, with courses relating to investigating and prosecuting corruption cases, national anti-corruption strategies, corruption in the judicial sector, whistleblowing and whistleblower protection, corruption and organized crime and asset tracing, and recovery.

The IMACC students deepened their knowledge of anti-corruption compliance for SMEs, the monitoring and evaluation of compliance programmes, gained a deeper insight into collective action in various sectors, as well as topics such as gifts, hospitality, donations and charity, and whistleblower protection.
