Professor Slagjana Taseva, Dean and Executive Secretary of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), participated in a high-level briefing on the United Nations General Assembly resolution concerning cooperation between the United Nations and INTERPOL. The event was organized by the INTERPOL Permanent Office to the United Nations in Vienna, in collaboration with the Permanent Missions of France and Morocco.

Professor Taseva delivered a statement emphasizing the crucial role of education in strengthening cooperation and enhancing the capacities of anti-corruption professionals. Furthermore, she provided an update on IACA’s recent activities, including tailored training programs, academic initiatives, and research efforts. Finally, Professor Taseva reiterated IACA’s commitment to reinforcing collaboration with the UN, INTERPOL, and all Member States on initiatives to prevent and fight corruption.
