Students of the Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS) and the International Master in Anti-Corruption Compliance and Collective Action (IMACC) of the 2024 cohort have both completed the live session phase of their respective second Module. The live sessions began on 20 January and ran until 14 February 2025. The module focused on corruption, law, and international initiatives.
The classes were taught by renowned experts in the field, namely Andrew Spalding, Eduard Ivanov, John Hatchard, Sanjeev Narrainen and Pallavi Roy. The session concluded with an expert talk delivered by the Dean of IACA, Dr. Slagjana Taseva.
The MACS students acquired a solid understanding of the legal and institutional frameworks to tackle corruption, concentrating on topics such as corruption and the rule of law, human rights, illicit financial flows, anti-money laundering and financial crime protection systems, as well as increasingly relevant aspects such as climate change and corruption.
Both classes are currently in their post-study phase, working towards completing their assignments before they begin their third module on 17 March 2025.
