On 13 March 2025, the Extended Bureau of the thirteenth session of IACA’s Assembly of Parties (AoP) held its first meeting in Vienna, Austria.

Chaired by the Honourable Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), the meeting focused on preparations for the fourteenth session of the AoP. Prof. Slagjana Taseva, Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA, also shared an update on recent developments at the Academy, including initiatives, capacity development activities, academic programmes, as well as financial and staffing matters.

Furthermore, Minister Othaman Said referred to the International Conference on Governance and Integrity on 15 July 2025, organized by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) with the support of IACA. This conference will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, concurrently with the IACA Regional Summer Academy – Asia Edition.

The fourteenth session of the AoP will convene in Vienna, Austria, in November 2025. The Extended Bureau comprises members of the Bureau of the thirteenth session and countries chairing the five UN Regional Groups.
