An informal discussion of the “friends of IACA” on the activities of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) took place on Tuesday, 25 March at the Permanent Mission of China to the International Organizations in Vienna.

The meeting aimed to foster a platform to complement official discussions on means to facilitate the implementation of the priorities of the Academy and ways for the organization to better assist States in their efforts to prevent and fight corruption.

IACA hopes that this meeting will mark the beginning of a process, which will involve all IACA Parties and other states willing to discuss in an informal setting issues related to the future activities of the organization. Such discussions are expected to provide IACA with a better understanding of the Constituency’s needs and promote a deeper understanding among the Constituency of IACA’s potential, its activities, and needs.
