Between 23 and 24 April 2025, IACA organized a two-day anti-corruption training for the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held in Riyadh.

Twenty-four participants attended the sessions led by Professor Christopher Yukins. The primary objective of the training was to strengthen participants’ competencies and equip them with knowledge in public procurement, thereby enhancing their capacity to combat corruption.

During the training, participants gained a deeper understanding of the procurement cycle and associated corruption risks, as well as the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) Article 9 and relevant prevention strategies.  On the final day of the training, participants explored the topic of conflict of interest, engaged in interactive exercises, and analyzed case studies to apply the concepts they had learned.
