From 26 to 30 April 2025, the International Anti-Corruption Academy delivered a five-day Tailor-made Training Programme on Good Governance and Anti-Corruption in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire. The event implemented in close partnership with the Academy of Good Governance and Anti-Corruption Leadership (ABG-LAC), followed on the momentum of the International Conference on the Fight Against Corruption held in Yamoussoukro from 24 to 25 April 2025. The training brought together nearly 100 public officials from key institutions from Côte d’Ivoire and from across West African region. The initiative aimed to translate high-level commitments made at the conference into practical, institutional capacity-building to strengthen public sector integrity. 

A distinguished team of IACA lecturers, including Eduard IVANOV, Drago KOS, Jacmen KOUAKOU, Mariame KRAUER-DIABY, Katalin PALLAI, and Elvio SALOMON, guided participants through interactive sessions on a range of governance and anti-corruption topics. These included identifying and mitigating corruption risks, establishing effective whistleblower systems, managing ethical dilemmas in public administration, and applying regional and international frameworks such as the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and African Union Convention on Preventing and Combating Corruption. 

Through a hands-on, collaborative learning environment, the programme offered tools and knowledge to enhance ethical leadership and promote transparency and accountability in daily institutional practice.
