On July 1, Seoul became the first local government in the world to establish a cooperative framework with the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) on anti-corruption and integrity policies and training. The Dean of IACA, Prof. Slagjana Taseva, and the Mayor of Seoul, Mr. Oh Se-hoon, signed a Memorandum of Understanding establishing a framework for both partners to co-operate on the exchange of anti-corruption policies and integrity training programmes.

On this occasion, IACA’s Dean and the Mayor of Seoul also had a meeting to share their respective experiences and visions related to the promotion of integrity.

Mayor Oh Se-hoon extended an invitation for the Dean to attend the 40th Anniversary General Assembly of Seoul. Dean Taseva will deliver a keynote speech at the upcoming forum on “Anti-Corruption Governance to Enhance Urban Transparency and Accountability.”
