H.E. Mr. Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the United Arab Emirates Accountability Authority (UAEAA) and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA), visited the IACA campus in Laxenburg on Friday, 26 September 2025, where he met with IACA Dean Dr. Slagjana Taseva and the IACA staff. He was accompanied by Mr. Mahmoud Al Alawi, Committee Chair of Corporate Support; Ms. Alia Alshamsi, Chairman Secretary of Strategic Relations Affairs; Dr. Imran Alfalasi, Development Expert; and other officials from the UAEAA and ADAA.

The meeting highlighted the importance of equipping anti-corruption professionals with rigorous training and standardized outcomes. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to launching new anti-corruption initiatives, such as the organization of new specialized trainings, and joint programmes.

These efforts will further strengthen the partnership between IACA, UAEAA, and ADAA in advancing the fight against corruption at the national, regional, and global levels.
